StyleVise’s privacy policy pertains to the use of the StyleVise website at http://www.StyleVise.com/ and is designed to help you understand how we collect and use the personal information you decide to share. Creating a StyleVise account is free. As a visitor to the site, you do not need to create an account in order to browse questions, answers, public profiles or read the StyleVise blog. However, to use certain parts of our websites or take advantage of certain StyleVise services, you may be required to complete a registration form and provide the requested information about you.

Information Collected

• Registration: In order to take full advantage of the StyleVise features, you must become a registered member of StyleVise by creating an account on this website. To create an account you are required to choose a password and provide the following contact information: name, email address, birth date and job title.
• Profile Information: Once a registered member, you may provide information in the profile section describing yourself. Providing additional information beyond what is required at registration is entirely optional, but a more complete profile enables you to better identify yourself and find new contacts and opportunities in the StyleVise system.
• When you create your public profile, you choose what information you put in your profile, including contact and personal information and photos. Please remember that any information you may disclose in your profile becomes public information. You should exercise caution when deciding to disclose personal information in these public areas. At registration, you have the option to hide your full name from appearing on your public profile by choosing a username.
• You post content on the StyleVise website at your own risk. Please be aware that no security measures are impenetrable. We cannot control the actions of other website visitors who browse your pubic profile. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that information you post on the website will not be viewed by unauthorized persons. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the website. You understand and acknowledge that, even after removal, copies of your information may remain viewable in cached and archived pages or if other users have copied or stored your information.
• StyleVise automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, cookie and the page you request.
• StyleVise uses information for the following general purposes: products and services provision, identification and authentication, services improvement, contact, research and anonymous reporting.

IP Addresses

IP Addresses are automatically reported by your browser each time you view a web page and is stored in our user registration databases when you register with the StyleVise website.

Editing and Deleting Account Information and Security.

• You can change your StyleVise Account Information at any time.
• We may send you certain communications relating to the StyleVise service, such as service announcements and administrative messages that are considered part of your StyleVise account.
• You can delete your StyleVise account at any time under “account settings”; however, please note that your identification and contact information may remain in StyleVise’s records for some period of time.
• Your StyleVise Account Information is password-protected.

StyleVise may update this policy at any time for any reason. If there are any significant changes to how we handle personal information we will send a notice to the primary email address specified in your StyleVise account or by placing a prominent notice on our website.
